tomatoes, cucumbers, marijuana. Agricultural products are the three most successful Dutch export, and have one thing in common: they are grown almost exclusively in greenhouses. Tomatoes and cucumbers in a totally legal, the hemp for marijuana plants no. Last year, the domestic industry of the so-called soft drug has achieved a turnover of two billion euro. The state also has earned a lot of money: the 700 coffeeshop lawyers have paid in taxes of approximately € 400 million. Only to taxes on revenue, mind you, jackets' do not pay VAT, as found in the "Reporter" issuer KRO television. "Nederweit"-slang for cannabis joint-e 'Prince of export products, like just tomato and cucumber. The first
importing countries are Germany and Britain, found the police commissioner Max Daniel. According to his estimates, most of the "Nederweit" produced in Holland, in practice 60% is sold and consumed outside the national borders, while the rest 'is intended for consumers through the Dutch coffeeshops. Prices vary according to quality '. In Amsterdam, where the demand of tourists and foreigners 'greatest, marijuana costs more' than Rotterdam or Utrecht. In many places, the substance and 'sold as already' 6 euro per gram and the quality of 'lower anche a 4 euro. In base alla legge attuale, nei coffeeshop una persona puo' acquistare al massimo 5 grams of substances provided 'is identified and demonstrated to have at least 16 years.
massive cultivation of hemp and 'prohibited. But it 's so advantageous that they are more and more' the homes of many districts 'good' turned into cultivated areas on hemp. They are perfect hiding places. This policy has meant substantially schizophrenic 'in recent decades in the Netherlands has grown a drug mafia, and every year there are at least five murders between rival gangs. The showdown for possession of the territory is often the street, just like with the Mafia in Italy: the performers arrive on a motorcycle, shoot and run.
It is estimated that sales of marijuana in coffee shops come to 265,000 pounds a year.

Certo, c'è the drug problem. If there had this problem who would never dream of banning the cultivation of this plant? But not only that. The prohibition of marijuana could easily live with the cultivation of industrial hemp. What it really hinders the raise is excessive zeal (only one?) With which this plant, rightly or wrongly, perseguitata.A is right or wrong? I am certainly not an expert, rather they are simply the latest arrival. Until recently I had never dealt with them hemp 'drug, also I've never smoked marijuana, even for testing. But after realizing that the drug problem is the main obstacle to the revival of this crop, I read everything that is can be found on the subject. I remain a non-expert. But it seems to me that there are two fixed points, now confirmed by many scientific studies that can not be more 'challenged. First, marijuana is not from 'them' dependence on its' addiction. Secondly it does not cause any kind of physical or psychological damage, even in habitual users (let alone those that are the occasional 90%). See for example, the authoritative report of prof. Bernard Roques (optional 'pharmacy of the University of Paris') commissioned by the French Ministry of Health.

(see Roques Italian version of the report)

not only cannabis with high THC content not is dangerous to health, but rather it is one of the most important and useful medicinal plants. And medicinal plants which also uses food (hemp seed) are the most 'secure that exist on Earth. In any case its supposed danger is always much lower than that of alcohol, tobacco, cocaine, heroin and other synthetic drugs, barbiturates, etc. .. But then why has created such a huge opposition to a substance so harmless and most useful? In my humble opinion, the problem can not be her unlikely toxicity. But none of this happens with marijuana. People under the influence of this drug do not become irresponsible, do not lose control of the situation and become more calm and not violent. In other countries other than ours the effects produced by marijuana are considered positive, and the plant, also because of its medicinal properties, is considered sacred. But this is where perhaps the explanation of everything is a drug (in the broadest sense) who do not belong to our cultura.Ci are precedents. It took two centuries before the tobacco was accepted by the European culture. Tobacco smoke has aroused the same opposition at the time and the same convictions of marijuana. The coffee, as it may seem strange for a long time has attracted a similar ostracism. And besides, there's been so long a similar negative attitude towards some even simple foods from the new world, especially to the potato and tomato. These foods have been adopted as normal foods until long after their introduction in Europe. Now it is very difficult to imagine our lives without potatoes, tomatoes, coffee or hot chocolate - who knows if anyone has ever prohibited - (while we could well do without tobacco!). But remember that in 1600 the dangers of smoking tobacco were unknown. In addition, the resin containing THC plants used to defend against parasites. Lower limit this too may therefore be problematic. Finally, it is more difficult to lower the level of THC in dioecious plants than monoecious. And the Italian varieties highly productive that gave the best fiber in the world are dioecious. These rules serve to counter the spread of a (suspected) drug, or to defend French interests from competition? But the French can prevent the cultivation of hemp fiber, when they do not produce fiber? It is shortsighted not want to defend this means a production of 10,000 hectares are quite different when the potential of this plant?

Fini law on drugs

Due anni di crudeltà. Legge Fini sulle droghe

I cinque sono accusati di avere organizzato Night patrols to attack the addicts who were approaching the park Stura di Torino, the chronicles known as the 'Toxic Park' for the continuing trafficking of drugs. The punitive raid had started about a year ago in connection with the protests of some residents of the neighborhood Barrier (stirred up by militants of the League and AN) 'to the constant coming and going of drug dealers and addicts in the park' and emergency departments departments of city hospitals had already recorded the fruits of the actions of the young squad (with 'injury to 60-day prognosis, collarbone, jaw, broken nose and many other injuries of any kind'), but the police decided to intervene when some bus drivers hanno denunciato pubblicamente episodi di aggressione di cui erano stati testimoni alle fermata del tram della linea 4 e sui mezzi stessi nell'ultimo mese. For its part, the Digos, however, has ruled out an array of political or ideological phenomenon, preferring to speak of 'bullying or parabullismo', even if some of those charged belong to groups' Ultra''Juventus close in on the far right and if the material they were also seized leaflets with slogans such as' Barrier Domina 'on a flag background graphics fascistissima.Non wonder that sprangatori have met a lot of understanding on the part of cops and judges.' The war on drug is fierce, 'he wrote only a few months ago in the columns of the British business daily Financial Times, the historian Matthew Engel, 'no decision of a modern democratic government has ever caused so much death and misery as the laws that have ruled against the legal recreational drug industry' and have started the 'ineffective, pointless, but fierce war on drugs' , which always takes aim at people who have done no violence towards others, have not harmed any freedom or any other's good, but who are guilty only of wanting to swallow, smoking, snorting, injecting illegal drugs by 21 leggi.Il February has made his second birthday the last act of this eternal Italian War On Drugs, the Law Ends. It was February 21, 2006, in fact, when Parliament approved the law on drug reform, change in a law-conversion to ensure the smooth running of the Winter Olympics in Turin. With a real coup Legislative soft drugs and hard drugs (until then subjected to different treatments) were amalgamated into a single table, were recovered from the quantities above which is passed directly to the administrative penalties and criminal sanctions were also established penalties for simple possession of illegal drugs, much higher (from six to twenty years' imprisonment) than those provided for offenses such as rape and attempted murder. In this way, would have a law on drugs the same as those of China, Cuba, Saudi Arabia, Vietnam, Iran and North Korea are the only countries in the world to treat soft drugs and hard drugs and to provide penalties for drugs comparable to those for murder. The law, however, was promptly signed by President of the Republic Ciampi Abbondio Don, but the electoral program of the Union, 'For the good of Italy,' for the elections which took place a few weeks from announcing the reform of drug laws, promising the abolition of all sanctions (including administrative) and declaring that 'the decree of the Government drug addiction should be repealed'. On 9 and 10 April 2006 held elections, won by the Union and the second Prodi government takes office May 17, 2006 and the program becomes the Union 'Program Government 2006-2011 '. The first statements by the new Minister of Social Solidarity, Paolo Ferrero by delegation on drug make you feel that the early Fini Law will be abolished, 'we are working to see what can be a fast to sterilize the negative effects of law-Fini Giovanardi. And this will certainly within a year '. Months passed. On 3 November 2006, the Health Minister, Livia Turkish doubles by decree the maximum of cannabis for personal use in the Law-Fini Giovanardi (raising it from 0.5 to 1 gram of active ingredient, namely 5 to 10 grams of smoke , that is less than that according to various surveys is bought by ordinary consumers as a spare). In other words, you risk ending up in prison for selling only if you are found with more than 1 gram of active ingredient in cannabis. It is not just repeal the law, but someone could save the prison. Forthwith, artfully assembled by the newspapers broke the 'controversy' and November 29 in the Senate, the Health Committee rejected the decree Turkish with an agenda presented and voted on by senators of the Union, including Anna Serafini (wife of Peter Ash) . While Ferrero continues to 'announce' lines, addresses, and plans that are not taken seriously by anyone, March 21 to appeal Codacons (association of consumers, already known for his hysterical anti-smoking campaigns), the TAR of Lazio undo il decreto Turco. Le tabelle naturalmente non sono mai state abolite…Dopo alcuni mesi di silenzio sul tema, l'11 maggio 2007, la Turco annuncia test antidroga obbligatori per i lavoratori con lavori transport and welcomes the idea of \u200b\u200bthe mayor of Milan kit to offer free drugs to families (which, however, in most cases are fortunately to rot in community pharmacies. The world is increasingly common sense of what is might think). On 8 June, however, announces the NAS will send sniffer dogs in schools and states that 'You just have to agree on the concept of prevention, which in my opinion does not mean tolerance, but to education and rules, to combat the trafficking in all its forms and to ensure healthy and safe environments for our children '. Of course, the law-Fini Giovanardi still in force, students who are caught with more than 0.5 grams of active ingredient di cannabis rischia di finire in carcere alla stregua di un narcotrafficante. Alla Late last year, a document of the Ministry of Interior and the Annual Report of the European Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Drug Addiction in Lisbon the European Union have highlighted that humanity Nova and some sites to denounce anti-prohibition time period Fini Law enforcement in Italy there was a sharp increase in the distribution of hard drugs, particularly heroin and cocaine between late 2005 and late 2007 saw more than halve their prices. 'Cocaine, thanks to ever-lower prices, invade nightclubs and houses' (the ratio of the Ministry of Interior). Fini Law has decreed that the separation of markets between drugs and hard drugs (che prima venivano spesso anche spacciate in luoghi diversi) che in qualche modo costituiva un argine alla diffusione di eroina e cocaina. 'In short - look at the Court - it was alleged that the illegal trade of' hard drugs' went to him more than the offensiveness of 'soft drugs'. " With Fini Law, however, possession for commercial purposes of any drug has the same detrimental effect of property protected by law "as made evident by the unification of the undifferentiated treatment of sanctions now," and then impersonating different substances together you make a single offense . If drug dealers rejoice in seeing their earnings increase, more and more people falling victim prohibitionist hysteria. In January, a report by the Interior Ministry, which sought all reports to the Prefect, and their fines, the 'keepers for personal use' from 1991 to 2006 revealed that during the period under consideration were 516,427 reported to the prefectures, while the reports made by the police came to 653,377 . Filing of an immense mass, whose news is being welcomed by the general silence of the media and politicians, which shows how dangerous it is for the freedom of all droghe.Le prohibition on drug law enforcement, moreover, has so far served only to add to the suffering and if their goal was to fight the spread of banned substances, have also been completely unsuccessful.

** *** *** A shameful law

The young people will learn quickly and with Fini and that this government does not mess around!

E 'but all too easy to foresee that this will produce a disaster. This, for two main motivi.Primo, because abolishing the distinction between deliberately soft and hard drugs, is denying the public mind that the results of a considerable amount of toxicological studies made in this area which indicate beyond any doubt the absolute irrelevance of adverse effects of marijuana on physical and derivatives. Total toxicity Cannabis is one of the lowest among medicinal substances or not. "If there is no difference, or if that difference is derisory, as it says, then we might as well try them all, take what happened to me ..." That's one of the possible and probable reasoning implied by this law and this type of communication ill that many young people, usually quite heedless of the dangers of lawlessness, they will feel entitled to do. Second, for those consumers, young and old, found in possession of a small amount of light drugs for personal use will be obliged to follow if they want to avoid imprisonment, treatment to health, even if soft drug use is harmless to health and free from addiction (as opposed to alcohol, for example) and even if they themselves do not feel at all ill or in need of care. How not to notice the chilling resemblance between this type of operation and the Compulsory Health Treatment (TSO), which has historically stigmatized and deteriorated to the sound of the first electroshock and straitjackets, then drugs, the moral and psychological condition of many victims?! Let us now consider the issue from another point of view, that of the experts. What should be said psychiatrists and psychologists to a patient, perhaps thirty or forty, sent them by the state against their will and why found in possession of cannabis for personal use? Unfortunately, there exists a good bet that they will not only give him a morale! Like the witches at the time of the Inquisition were first forced to confess their state of possession by the devil and then to repent "sincerely" in the hope (often in vain, unfortunately) to avoid the worst (ie the stake), so Fini will be the new addict of the first forced to confess one's state of illness and then to repent completing "sincerely" the "recovery program" (chemical, psychotherapy or both) in order to avoid the worst ( ie the center). Lo psicanalista francese Jacques Alain Miller, uno dei più eminenti intellettuali a livello mondiale, ha coniato a tale proposito l’indovinata ma forte, allarmante espressione “igienismo autoritario”.La felicità in pastiglia portata avanti secondo una logica assoggettata the chemical and therapeutic technique, which prohibits certain substances and prescribes other in the name of efficiency and convenience, it is hoped, of the system ... Just as an example, Ritalin is made well in 2900 but the side effects is advised and given the children a little 'too rough in the schools, not to mention the placebo effect of depressed children on Seroxat. The harmless marijuana but is now strictly prohibited and its use is punished with a sentence ranging from one to six years in prison (or "forced recovery" in the community). Gradually, we are witnessing a disturbing interference of the Therapeutic State ( Szasz as he calls it) in the intimate affairs of citizens. Actually we are not far apart the dismal scenario set by the science fiction film Blade Runner where the protagonists find themselves having to fight against political systems that attempt to govern by holding information and advanced technologies (chemical and otherwise), their best results destino.I in combating and prevention of drug abuse will have in countries like Holland, which for many years felt that the distinction is not the enemy intelligence and counter-productive effects. The legalization of cannabis in the Netherlands showed in fact a drop in consumption from 1976 to 1989 from 3% to 2% in the boys 15/16 years, and from 10% to 6% for boys of 17/18 anni.Occorre have the courage to say out loud and clear that this law is una vergogna e fa compiere un grande passo indietro al paese.
