The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was signed sixty years ago in Paris, the French capital for this raggione has been selected to receive the most important annual event of NGOs, the Annual Conference of the United Nations DPI / NGO, which this year with the theme: "Reaffirming Human Rights : 60 years of the Universal Declaration "will be held at UNESCO headquarters, and should bring together over 2,000 representatives of non-governmental organizations of 90 countries. the 61st Annual Conference is organized by the Department of Information and Cooperation with NGOs, with the contribution this year of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO), the High Commissioner for Human Rights and the French government.
The Conference aims to attract the attention of the media available to civil society, in collaboration with other actors, with the aim to strengthen human rights at international, regional, national and local levels. The events encourage the active engagement of the participants include five round tables, 42 workshops and several meetings at noon subsidize. All activities proposed, those tablets on the internet, try raising the parties concerning human rights, and strengthen the common will to enforce them around the world.
